Safety Design and Testing Verification of Lithium Batteries for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles
In order to effectively solve the safety problem of large-scale lithium batteries in the closed environment of an unmanned submersible, the intrinsic safety lithium battery technology of"Lithium iron phosphate positive electrode solid electrolyte niobium titanium oxide negative electrode"is applied to the unmanned submersible.Based on the analysis of the functional orientation of the lithium battery of the unmanned submersible,a Intrinsic safety lithium battery,"Lithium iron phosphate positive electrode solid electrolyte niobium titanium oxide negative electrode"is proposed. The lithium battery has been applied in the joint commissioning test and on the ship. The results show that the voltage platform, energy density, power density and other performance indicators of the lithium battery with"lithium iron phosphate positive electrode+solid electrolyte+titanium niobium oxide negative electrode"meet the requirements for boarding, and the cycle life can be increased to thousands of times.Thermal runaway, short circuit, drop, low pressure, abnormal charging, and seawater immersion did not occur during the test process, and it has good environmental adaptability, adaptability, and compatibility, which can improve the safety of unmanned underwater vehicles.
