Progressive Cruise Shape and Functional Layout Reverse Design Methods
To develop China's independent cruise ship design capabilities and enhance the level of intelligent design in the conceptual phase of cruise ship projects,a progressive reverse design method for cruise ship modeling and functional layout is proposed.Based on the analysis of the external morphological characteristics and internal functional layout features of large cruise ships,a characteristic value library of medium and large cruise ship types is established.Using reverse design methods such as matching values and association values, the design ship modeling and layout schemes are generated. Finally, secondary development based on RHINO is carried out,and a set of software modules specifically aimed at conceptual design of the superstructure modeling and internal functional layout of medium and large cruise ships is developed and validated through examples. The results show that the design schemes generated by this method have a high similarity to the original ship design, with strong reverse restoration capability, proving the intuitiveness and feasibility of the schemes generated using this design method. The implementation of this method can effectively help designers and shipowners to describe and present cruise ship design schemes, making a positive exploration for the future construction of a"cruise ship design brain".
