Influence of Polyurethane Rubber Damping Ring on the Stiffness and Damping Characteristics of the Limiter
Based on the finite element simulation method,the influence of the polyurethane rubber damping ring on the stiffness and damping characteristics of the limiter is studied.Based on the Mooney-Rivlin model and the generalized Maxwell model,the superelastic and viscoelastic constitutive models of polyurethane rubber materials are established.According to the stress-strain curve of polyurethane rubber material under high strain rate obtained by impact test,the impact constitutive model of polyurethane rubber material related to strain rate is established.Based on the established material constitutive model,the dynamic and impact simulation models of the limiter are established.The established simulation model is used to analyze the influence of material parameters and structural parameters of polyurethane rubber damping ring on the stiffness and damping characteristics of the limiter,to determine the hardness of the polyurethane rubber damping ring,and to obtain the influence of the structural parameters of the polyurethane rubber damping ring on the stiffness and damping characteristics of the limiter.The research results can provide a reference for the structural design and material selection of the limiter.
