Influence of Diesel Engine Exhaust Gas Parameters on the Performance of Ship U-Shaped Desulfurization Scrubber
The U-shaped desulfurization scrubber of a 10 MW marine diesel engine is taken as the research object, and the effects of diesel engine exhaust gas parameters on the field characteristics and droplet evaporation characteristics of the U-shaped desulfurization scrubber are investigated using the AVL FIRE software system. The research shows that the exhaust gas temperature of diesel engines has a significant effect on the temperature field distribution and injection kinetic energy of the U-shaped desulfurization scrubber, but has a relatively small impact on the flow field distribution and droplet distribution inside the scrubber.Higher exhaust gas temperatures can cause difficulties in droplet condensation.Diesel engine exhaust gas flow has a significant effect on the temperature field, flow field distribution and water vapor concentration. The lower the exhaust gas flow of the diesel engine, the greater the influence of the spray on the flow field distribution. The higher the exhaust gas flow rate, the more a vortex is created, which increases the desulfurization effect. When the flow field distribution inside the scrubber is stable, the effect of the exhaust gas flow rate on the distribution of the water vapor concentration is relatively small. The results can provide theoretical guidance for the miniaturization and low-pressure drop design of U-shaped desulfurization scrubber.
