Research on the Implementation Path of Higher Vocational English Teaching Under the Guidance of Core Literacy
College English is a compulsory public basic course in the first year of higher vocational colleges.Under the background of improving quality and excellence,guided by the new curriculum standards,and based on clarifying the core competencies of the English subject,this paper analyzes the current situation of higher vocational English teaching,and explores the implementation path of higher vocational English teaching under the guidance of core competencies from four aspects,reconstructing teaching content,adopting 5E teaching mode,adopting diversified teaching evaluation mode,and enhancing students' information technology ability in order to further improve the effectiveness of English teaching and promote the high-quality development of higher vocational colleges.
