The boring theory teaching and simple mechanical skill practice in traditional basketball teaching mode often kill students' enthusiasm and interest. Game training plays an important role in stimulating students' learning interest and improving their learning enthusiasm. On the basis of discussing the application value of game training method in basketball teaching in higher vocational colleges,this paper studies the application strategy of game training method in basketball teaching in higher vocational colleges,and puts forward beneficial exploration for improving the level of basketball teaching in higher vocational colleges.
