Research on the Transformation and Upgrading of Resource-based Cities in Jilin Province
As an important supply place of resources and raw materials, resource-based cities in Jilin Prov-ince once flourished in the stage of China's rapid economic growth, and contributed greatly to the rapid de-velopment of China's economy. However, with the economic development from high-speed development to high-quality development direction, resource-based cities need to transform and upgrade, change the de-velopment mode to seek sustainable economic development. With the support of the central government and Jilin provincial government, the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in Jilin Prov-ince has made some achievements, but there are still many factors hindering the further transformation and upgrading of some cities at this stage. This paper will analyze the problem, and propose effective counter-measures and suggestions, in order to help Jilin Province resource-based cities to achieve further transfor-mation and upgrading, to achieve sustainable development.
