In the context of the new era, efforts to improve the quality of teacher education should be started from three aspects, i.e., pre-employment training, on boarding training and on-the-job continuing education. In terms of pre-employment training, it is recommended to explore an excellent teacher training mechanism with"a consistent six-year"bachelor and master degree system, and its training objectives are research-oriented teachers and teachers with educational ideas as educators; in the aspect of the on boarding training, it is advocated to conduct a thorough analysis of the needs of new teachers, optimize the training content, enrich training forms, and provide sufficient learning time; and from the perspective of the on-the-job continuing education, build a diversified and personalized in-service teacher training system.
