Integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into senior high school English teaching is conducive to the integration of Chinese and western cultures,enhancing students'intercultural communication ability and comprehensive language application ability,and building their cultural confidence.However,in the actual teaching teachers attach importance to the cultivation of students'language ability and neglect the expansion of cultural knowledge;pay attention to the one-way transmission of the target language culture and ignore the exploration of traditional cultural elements;their traditional culture knowledge reserve is insufficient and teaching skills need to be improved.In order to solve the above problems,the following countermeasures are put forward:clear teaching objectives and pay attention to the cultivation of students'traditional culture literacy;make full use of teaching materials and deeply explore traditional culture elements;arrange teaching tasks reasonably and imperceptibly infiltrate the traditional culture into them;optimize the classroom evaluation system,and stimulate students'cultural learning motivation;strengthen the construction of teaching staff and make rational use of teaching means.
