Vocabulary is an important component of language,and vocabulary learning is the most fundamental and critical link in language learning.In senior middle school English learning,students'vocabulary learning efficiency and level directly affect their listening,speaking,writing,reading comprehension,translation,and oral expression.By incorporating specific contexts such as interpersonal communication,academic exploration,business negotiation,and literary creation into vocabulary teaching,teachers can not only assist students in understanding and memorizing vocabulary,but also cultivate their language sense and build their confidence in learning.The article takes senior middle school English vocabulary teaching as the exploration object,combines the current situation of English vocabulary teaching,systematically explores the application value of context in senior middle school English vocabulary teaching,and proposes practical and feasible strategies,in order to provide reference for frontline teachers to optimize senior middle school English vocabulary teaching.
