Sichuan's red cultural resources,as a part of China's cultural resources,have significant regional characteristics and important educational significance.They are key teaching elements in senior middle school ideological and political education and valuable resources for shaping senior middle school students'political identity.In response to the problems faced by senior middle school students in cultivating their political identity through the use of Sichuan's red cultural resources,such as a single application form,weak ability to transform students'political cognition,insufficient development of red cultural resources,and incomplete construction of campus red culture,schools can improve the actual effectiveness of Sichuan's red cultural resources in cultivating senior middle school students'political identity through classroom teaching,extracurricular practice,resource development,and environmental construction.
