From the perspective of ideological and political education in courses,the integration of case teaching method into the teaching of economic law courses in open universities aims to deepen the integration of case teaching and ideological and political education in economic law courses,innovate the case teaching mode in the open education environment,and strengthen the role of case teaching in cultivating students'ideological and political literacy.The article explores the path of using case teaching method to implement ideological and political education in economic law courses in open universities from the aspects of constructing a case-based teaching system,creating problem-based teaching scenarios guided by cases,achieving online and offline collaborative teaching,enriching course evaluation forms,etc.,in order to provide reference for the application of case teaching method in ideological and political education in open education courses.
