Research on the Challenges and Countermeasures Faced by Local Internationalization of Universities
The traditional international talent training model that relies on cross-border mobility is difficult to meet the needs of modern society alone.Universities urgently need to make up for their small coverage,high risk of talent loss,and high dependence on foreign countries through local internationalization.This study starts from the connotation of local internationalization in Chinese universities,analyzes the challenges they face,and combines the opportunities for local internationalization development.From four aspects:establishing the concept of local internationalization development,creating a suitable local internationalization training environment,establishing a high-level international teaching staff,and introducing relevant systems and policies for local internationalization,suggestions are put forward to promote the implementation of local internationalization in universities,in order to explore a path of talent cultivation with Chinese local internationalization.
