This article conducts research and practical investigation on existing literature to understand the current status of the application of evaluation methods for ideological and political courses in Yunnan universities,identify the existing problems and difficulties,and based on the important spirit and development trend of the new era education evaluation reform,construct a new era of evaluation methods for ideological and political courses in universities from multiple dimensions of teaching and education:focusing on the combination of result evaluation and process evaluation,qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation,standard evaluation and value-added evaluation,comprehensive evaluation and classification evaluation,online evaluation and offline evaluation,administrative evaluation and professional evaluation,and internal evaluation and external evaluation.
