The official textbook"Golden Mirror of Medicine"from Qing Dynasty was introduced to the Northeast China through various channels since its publication,which promoted the development and maturation of the local medical system and the formation of medical schools.During the period from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,"Golden Mirror of Medicine",with its prominent educational function,made great contributions to the education of Chinese medicine in the Northeast China,and cultivated many famous and old Chinese medicine practitioners.The book was regarded as a guideline by local doctors and had a far reaching influence.Famous doctors such as Chen Yufeng absorbed the experience of the book and treated hepatitis with"Xiong Gui Decoction",which had remarkable curative effects.The formulas such as amber contained in the book have also been widely used,and have been clinically proven to have miraculous effects.
