Research progress in the mechanism of action of danshensu in gestational hypertension
Danshensu,the primary water-soluble active component of Salvia miltiorrhiza,has various pharmacological activities and has been extensively studied in cardiovascular diseases in recent years,and has been appplied in clinical treatment.The prevention and treatment of gestational hypertension are still unsolved issues.Because the pathogenesis of gestational hypertension is similar to that of cardiovascular diseases,the role of danshensu in prevention and treatment of gestational hypertension has also become the hot research topic for scholars.Studies have shown that danshensu and its derivatives can play the role through pathways such as antioxidative stress,anti-inflammatory,antiapoptosis,anticoagulant properties,and vascular endothelium protection.This paper explores the possible mechanisms of action of danshensu in gestational hypertension.
