Therapeutic effect of akupotomye treatment on knee osteoarthritis and its influence on knee joint function in patients
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of akupotomye treatment on knee osteoarthritis and its influence on knee joint function in patients. Methods 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with akupotomye treatment, and the control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate injected into articular caviry. Both groups were treated for 21 days and followed up for 1 year. The clinical efficacy after 21 days of treatment, knee joint function, quality of life and anxiety before treatment and after 21 days of treatment, safety during treatment, and recurrence after 1 year of follow-up between two groups were compared. Results After 21 days of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group(96.67%,29/30)was higher than that of the control group(73.33%,22/30)(P<0.05).After 21 days of treatment, the Western Ontario and MeMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC),visual analogue score(VAS),knee arthritis severity index(ISOA)and beck anxiety inventory(BAI)scores of both groups decreased, and the index values and scores of the above indicators were lower in the treatment group(P<0.05).After 21 days of treatment, the joint range of motion(ROM),scores of arthritis impact measurement scales 2(AIMS2-SF)and modified Barthel index(MBI)scores in both groups increased, and the values of the above indicators in the treatment group were higher(P<0.05).During treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).After 1 year of follow-up,the recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Akupotomye treatment has the good clinical efficacy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, which can improve the function of knee joint, reduce anxiety, control recurrence, improve the quality of life, and has good safety.
