Research progress in the treatment of acute lung injury in sepsis with traditional Chinese medicine monomers
Acute lung injury caused by sepsis is an organ disease characterized by complex pathogenesis,high treatment costs and high mortality rates.In recent years,the application of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been increasing in the treatment of sepsis and its complications.TCM emphasizes the utilization of its characteristics such as multiple components,pathways,and targets to balance immune responses,promote blood circulation,and achieve the effect of strengthening and consolidating body resistance.TCM monomers and their active ingredients can reduce oxidative stress levels,inhibit inflammatory pathways,and regulate immune responses by exerting the effects of clearing heat and removing toxicity,freeing the bowels and eliminating heat,activating blood and resolving stasis,and strengthening and consolidating body resistance,in order to achieve the effect of treating acute lung injury caused by sepsis.This paper reviews the research progress in the mechanisms and therapeutic effect of TCM monomers and active ingredients in the treatment of acute lung injury caused by sepsis,in order to provide theoretical basis and empirical support for the treatment of sepsis and its complications with TCM.
