Endometriosis(EMs)is a benign gynecological disease,and often leads to secondary symptoms such as dysmenorrhea,chronic pelvic pain and infertility.Western medicine mainly treats EMs through non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,hormone replacement therapy or surgical treatment.However,this treatment results in more adverse reactions and heavy economic burden for patients.Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients and reduce their recurrence rate by treating EMs with traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture and moxibustion,emema,acupoint application and other methods.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of EMs.
