Therapeutic effect of acupoint application combined with Xiao'er Resuqing granules in the treatment of influenza in children
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of acupoint application combined with Xiao'er Resuqing granules on influenza in children and its impact on serum macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF),serum amyloid A(SAA),and high mobility group protein B1(HMGB-1).Methods 99 patients with influenza were selected and divided into the control group,the observation group 1 and the observation group 2 according to random number table method,with 33 cases in each group.The control group received intravenous infusion of paramivir sodium chloride injection.The observation group 1 received oral administtation of Xiao'er Resuqing granules on the basis of the treatment of the control group,while the observation group 2 received acupoint application on the basis of the treatment of the observation group 1.All three groups were treated for one week.The clinical efficacy and disappearance time of symptoms after one week of treatment,levels of serum MIF,SAA and HMGB-1 before treatment and after one week of treatment among three groups,and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared.Results After one week of treatment,the total effective rate in the observation group 2(93.94％,31/33)was higher than that in the observation group 1(75.76％,25/33)and the control group(51.52％,17/33)(P＜0.05),and the observation group 1 was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).The time for disappearance of sore throat,fever,normal body temperature to recover,cough,nasal obstruction,and runny nose in the control group,the observation group 1 and the observation group 2 gradually shortened(P＜0.05).After one week of treatment,the serum levels of MIF,SAA,and HMGB-1 in three groups decreased compared with before treatment;And in the control group,the observation group 1 and the observation group 2,the serum levels of MIF,SAA,and HMGB-1 showed a gradually decreasing trend(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions among three groups during treatment(P＞0.05).Conclusion Xiao'er Resuqing Granules can effectively promote the relief of symptoms related to influenza in children,reduce the inflammatory response of the body in children,and improve the treatment effect.On the basis of the treatment of Xiao'er Resuqing granules,the combination of acupoint application has the better therapeutic effect and good safety.
