By exploring the correlation between the pathological mechanism of the brain default network function damage and the impaired function of viscus storing essence,it reveals that the impaired function of viscus storing essence is the core of the pathogenesis of primary insomnia.And based on the theory of"Odor Harmony and Harmonization"of the trinity of"Disease-Organ-Medicine"of the"Su Wen-Organ-Qi Fashi Lun",and with the imbalance of the functions of heart,liver,and spleen as the core,this paper explores syndrome differentiation and treatment in Chinese medicine of the brain default network function damage with a view to exploring new ways for the clinical prevention and treatment of primary insomnia caused by the functional impairment of the brain default network.
