Study on optimization of molding process of compound Shanchen Granules by central composite design-response surface methodology
Objective To optimize the molding process of compound Shanchen Granules. Methods The relative density of the thick paste and the total amount of diluent were selected as the investigation factors by single factor test, and the forming rate, angle of repose, moisture and solubility of the granules were used as the evaluation indexes. The optimal molding process of compound Shanchen granules was optimized by central composite design-response surface methodology(CCD-RSM).Results The optimal molding process conditions were that the thick paste with relative density of 1.25(60℃)was mixed with diluent(mannitol:dextrin=1:3)in a ratio of 1:3 to prepare the soft material, and sieved through 16 mesh sieve to form granules, and then after drying at 60℃ for about 1 hour, the whole granules were obtained. Conclusion The process optimized by CCD-RSM is stable and reliable, which can provide reference for the industrial production of compound Shanchen Granules.
