Research progress in acupuncture regulation of intestinal flora in the treatment of some related diseases
The human gut possesses the complex and rich flora.The intestinal flora is involved in physiological functions such as nutrient absorption,immune defense,and regulation of metabolism.The changes of intestinal flora are related to the occurrence and development of many diseases such as ischemic stroke and Parkinson's disease,and even to the severity of the diseases.As an important component of traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture has been proved to have the regulatory effect on intestinal flora.By regulating the community diversity and abundance of intestinal flora,acupuncture can regulate host metabolism and immune response,and affect the development of related diseases.The mechanism and mode of targeted treatment of related diseases by intestinal flora still need to be further explored.
