Analysis of clinical status of changes in signaling pathways and growth factors related to wound healing in patients treated with traditional Chinese medicine after anal fistula surgery
Anal fistula is generally difficult to self-healing,and surgery is an effective way to cure the disease. However, due to the special location of anal fistula lesions, postoperative wounds are mostly open, which can easily cause a series of problems and increase the pain of the patients. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine treatment has gradually become the main way to promote wound healing after anal fistula surgery due to the advantages of low cost and ideal efficacy. At present,it is found that the active ingredients of some Chinese herbal compounds, and Chinese herbal compound preparations have important roles in promoting wound healing after anal fistula surgery.Through searching,it is found that traditional Chinese medicine can accelerate neovascularization and promote wound healing after anal fistula surgery by regulating the signaling pathways of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)/Smad,hypoxia-inducible factor 1(HIF-1),phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/Akt),and Hippo, etc. This paper summarizes the signaling pathways, growth factor changes and the mechanism of action related to wound healing in patients treated with traditional Chinese medicine after anal fistula surgery,in order to provide basis for further research on the treatment of postoperative anal fistula patients with traditional Chinese medicine.
