Observation of the clinical efficacy of Yi Guan therapy for remission of asthma based on the theory of Kaixuan Tongluo
Objective To verify the effectiveness and safety of Yi Guan therapy for remission of asthma under the guidance of the theory of"KaixuanTongluo",in order to provide reference for clinical treatment of remission of asthma.Methods 32 patients collected from 2022 to 2023 were selected.The changes of forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),FEV1/forced vital capacity(FVC),the levels of eosinophils,interleukin(IL)-4 and IL-17,Asthma Control Test Questionnaire(ACT),and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of these patients before and after treatment were observed.Results After 3 months of treatment,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC of the patients increased(P<0.05);The levels of eosinophils,IL-4,and IL-17 decreased(P<0.05),and asthma was well controlled with significant improvement in symptoms.Conclusion By mechanical traction,Yi Guan therapy can open sweat pore and dredge collaterals,improve the immune level,reduce the levels of pro-inflammatory factors such as IL-4 and IL-17,and reduce the secretion of inflammatory cells such as eosinophils,thereby reducing airway inflammation and improving lung function.
