Clinical study on the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia with three talents of heaven,man and earth points combination acupuncture
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of three talents of heaven,man and earth points combination acupuncture in the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia.Methods 120 patients with perimenopausal insomnia admitted to Yulin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from February 2020 to July 2022 were selected and divided into the control group and the study group according to random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment and conventional acupuncture treatment,and the study group received conventional Western medicine treatment and three talents of heaven,man and earth points combination acupuncture.The clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,sleep quality and the levels of sex hormone indexes were compared between two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the study group(93.33%)was higher than that of the control group(76.67%)(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)dimensions of both groups decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)decreased in both groups,while estradiol(E2)increased,and the study group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Three talents of heaven,man and earth points combination acupuncture has the good therapeutic effect on perimenopausal insomnia,which can effectively improve the quality of sleep,relieve the symptoms of insomnia,and improve levels of the serum sex hormones of the body.
