Pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus and progress in Chinese medicine intervention
This paper studies the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus and the literature on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)intervention to provide reference and basis for the clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.This paper selects the literature on the clinical research of TCM and Western medicine of type 2 diabetes mellitus in recent 5 years,and summarizes it from the perspectives of TCM and Western medicine.Western medicine mainly elaborates the related contents from the aspects of epidemiology,pathogenesis,and current treatment status.Traditional Chinese medicine mainly expounds the related contents from the aspects of etiology,pathogenesis,treatment status,acupuncture and moxibustion,massage,Chinese medicine and other aspects.By organizing and summarizing the literature on these aspects,it is confirmed that the treatment methods above have significant clinical efficacy.The traditional treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus has the positive therapeutic effect.And this method is simple,safe,low cost,easy to accept by patients,and has no adverse reactions.
