Exploration of the approach to treatment based on syndrome differentiation for insomnia based on the pathogenesis of kidney deficiency and liver qi invasion
Based on the correlation between the pathological characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine for kidney deficiency and liver qi invasion and the etiology and pathogenesis of insomnia,this paper summarizes the principle-method-recipe-medicines for treating insomnia from the perspective of"kidney deficiency and liver qi invasion".From the perspective of etiology and pathogenesis in traditional Chinese medicine,"kidney deficiency"is an important cause of insomnia,and"liver qi invasion"is the key pathogenesis of insomnia.The treatment of insomnia from the perspective of"kidney deficiency and liver qi invasion"should take into account both the etiology and pathogenesis,and invigorating the kidney and calming the liver.Patients who have difficulty in falling asleep are suitable for nourishing yin for lowering fire,and suppressing liver-yang and relieving uneasiness of body and mind to promote sleep.Patients who have difficulty in maintaining sleep are suitable for supplementing essence and replenishing blood,clearing and lowering superficies heat to sleep peacefully.Patients who have multiple dreams are suitable for tonifying yang and consolidating kidney,and calming the spirit to eliminate dreams.
