This article explores the experience of Professor Wang Lie,National Chinese medicine master,in the treatment of children with mental and behavioral disorders with the theory of syndrome of reckless behavior.The name"syndrome of reckless behavior"was proposed by Professor Wang Lie in the 1970s to summarize the clinical syndrome of mental and behavioral abnormalities in children.The occurrence of this type of disease is based on the congenital physiological characteristics of children,combined with the influence of acquired factors.According to the clinical manifestations and characteristics of the disease,syndrome of reckless behavior is divided into three stages for treatment.During the attack stage,treatment should be given to clear the heart and calm the liver,accompanied by nourishing yin,while the prescription is chosen to be modified Wangwei power.During the remission stage,treatment should be given to nourish the heart and tranquilize mind,and invigorate the kidney and supplement essence,while the prescription is chosen to be modified Annao Decoction.During the stable stage,treatment should be given to tonify the kidneys and invigorate the brain,and consolidate body resistance and prevent recurrence,while the prescription is chosen to be modified Zishen Powder.
