Clinical efficacy of Yishentongluo acupuncture method in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of liver-kidney deficiency type
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Yishentongluo acupuncture method in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of liver-kidney deficiency type.Methods A total of 100 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of liver-kidney deficiency type were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture at neck-Jiaji point(EX-B2),Ashi point,Tianzhu point(BL 10),Houxi point(SI3),Shenmai point(BL62),Xuanzhong point(GB39),and Shenshu point(BL23),and the treatment group was treated with Yishentongluo acupuncture at Jiaji point,Ashi point,Hegu point(L14),Houxi point(SI3),and Guanyuan point(RN4).The clinical efficacy in both groups was compared.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score,and Tanaka Yasushi Cervical Spondylitis Symptom Scale 20 Score of two groups before and after treatment were compared.The occurrence of adverse reactions between two groups was compared.Results After 2 weeks of treatment,the total clinical effective rate of the treatment group(88.00％,44/50)was significantly higher than that of the control group(82.00％,41/50)(P＜0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,compared with before treatment,the scores of TCM syndrome in two groups decreased,and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,compared with before treatment,the symptom scores of neck pain,and radiating pain and numbness of the affected limb in both groups decreased,and the VAS score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,compared with before treatment,Tanaka Yasushi Cervical Spondylitis Symptom Scale 20 Score in both groups decreased,and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yishentongluo acupuncture method has the definite therapeutic effect on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of liver-kidney deficiency type.It can effectively alleviate symptoms such as neck pain,radiating pain and numbness in the upper limbs,dizziness and headache,hearing loss,tinnitus,and insomnia and dreams.This therapy is worthy of clinical promotion.
