Research progress in podocyte gene and steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome
Hormone-resistant nephrotic syndrome(SRNS)is a common renal disease.Through the development of the disease,it eventually progresses to the end stage of kidney, which seriously threatens the life safety of patients. In recent years, podocyte gene has become the focus of clinical attention, and consideration may be the main pathogenic mechanism of SRNS.In view of this, combined with the research literature at home and abroad, this paper aims to review the research progress of podocyte genes and SRNS.Through the combination of domestic and foreign research,it has been found that mutations in podocyte septal membrane genes, podocyte cytoskeleton genes, podocyte mitochondrial protein genes, and podocyte nuclear protein genes are associated with impaired podocyte function and glomerular dysfunction, ultimately leading to various kidney diseases including SRNS.However, research in this field is still ongoing. Therefore, exploring the complex relationship between podocyte genes and SRNS can help clinical doctors better understand the specific pathogenesis of SRNS and provide scientific basis for developing more precise and effective treatment plans.
