"History and Class Consciousness"by Georg Lukacs is one of his major theoretical achievements and a foundational work of Western Marxism,with unique theoretical significance and contemporary value.Since its publication a century ago,domestic research has mainly focused on theories such as reification,class consciousness,dialectics,and the critique of capitalist modernity.This has facilitated the organic integration of Western Marxist classical propositions with the development practices of socialism with Chinese characteristics.However,long-term literature research and theoretical discussions have shown differences and disagreements in research depth,systematicity,and foundational issues.In the new era,using CiteSpace,a visual literature analysis software,to organize and review the outstanding research achievements on"History and Class Consciousness"can further clearly display the spatiotemporal dynamics and development trends of domestic research,deepening and expanding the research space in text analysis,academic history organization,and theoretical application.This further elucidates the historiographical effects of the classic work.
