Unlike the Western path to modernization,the Chinese path to modernization has gone through four stages of development:the New Democratic Revolution,the Socialist Revolution and Construction,the Reform and Opening-Up,and the New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics;it has always adhered to the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC),maintained a socialist nature in its modernization efforts,emphasized a people-centered development philosophy,and upheld the principle of independence and self-reliance. At a time when the world is undergoing a great change not seen in a hundred years and when the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is progressing,the Chinese path to modernization has its unique value implications. It opens new horizons for modernization,breaking the rigid model of Western-centric modernization. It demonstrates that there is no "fixed model" for modernization,offering new pathways for developing countries to achieve modernization. Additionally,it has created a new form of human civilization,making significant contributions to global modernization.
