The Soil Moisture in Eastern of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its Relationship with Precipitation in China
To further understand the changes of soil moisture in the Tibet Plateau and its relationship with precipitation in China, based on the relative soil humidity observation data of 22 main stations in the Tibet Plateau area, the characteristics of temporal and patial distribution of the soil humidity over the Tibetan Plateau were analyzed.By utilizing precipitation dataset and the data of the relative soil moisture from 1992 to 2012,the relationship between the soil moisture in the eastern of Tibet plateau area and the precipitation in China were also analyzed by calculating the correlation coefficient. The conclusions indicate that:(1) the relative humidity of soil shows a decreasing trend from east to west in Tibet.(2) The depth of 10cm is drier, the soil layer at 20cm is the wettest in the three layers, humidity variation is well-distributed in the depth of 50era,the surface soil moisture changes significantly. And the different-layer soil moisture tends to decrease.(3) The possible linkage between the soil moisture in the eastern of The Tibetan plateau and the precipitation in China shows that more(less) summer precipitation in the Jiang Huai basin when the spring soil moisture is wetter (drier) in the plateau.
