Water Breakthrough Time Law of Offshore Edge Water Heavy Oil Reservoir:A Case Study of Offshore LD Oilfield
The accurate prediction of water breakthrough time of edge water reservoir is helpful to the accurate implementation of oilfield strategy, the realization of water control and oil stabilization, and the enhancement of oil recovery. Taking offshore LD Oilfield as the research object, numerical simu-lation technology is used to study the influence of average permeability, grade difference, distance from edge water, water multiple, oil recovery speed, crude oil viscosity and other factors on water breakthrough time, and the relative range method is used to determine the main control factors. On this basis, the orthogonal design method is used to design the simulation scheme, and the empirical formula for predicting water breakthrough time of edge water reservoir is regressed according to the simulation results. Here are the results: first, the distance from edge water, oil recovery rate, oil grade difference and crude oil viscosity are the main controlling factors affecting the water break-through time of LD Oilfield; second, the prediction result of empirical formula reaches 0.93, which is consistent with the actual situation of the oilfield; third, the research results help to determine the water output layer of high water content wells. After the water blocking operation, the daily oil of X19 Well increased 10 m3/d. The research results have certain guiding significance for improving the development effect of edge water reservoir.
