Preparation and Performance Evaluation of Nanoparticle Dispersion in Drilling Fluid
Because of its nanometer size effect,nano material can show better sealing property in drilling fluid,and especially it can get obvious filling effect on micro cracks and small pores which are deep in the formation.However,at present,the use of nanoparticles in water base drilling fluid generally has the problems of low dispersion and easy reunion,resulting in the non-ideal plugging effect.In order to overcome these problems,based on the preparation of nano particles,nanoparticle dispersion is prepared and the performance evaluation is done to make clear about the plugging effect;moreover,by improving the particle size distribution of drilling fluid,the plugging effect of nano dispersions is advanced.The research has good enlightenment for the next step in field applica-tion,which will help nano particles play a better role in drilling fluid,and improve the plugging per-formance of drilling fluid.
