Effects of PGPR Inoculum without Exogenous Nitrogen on the Growth and Root System Characteristics of Vicia sativa L.
Three PGPR(Strain No.:G3,Y16,J3-1) strains were isolated and screened from the rhizosphere of vetch(Vicia sativa). Both single inoculum and compound inoculum were designed with these strains.Effect of inoculum on the growth and root system characteristics of vetch was determined by an indoor experiment. The results indicated that the plant height, biomass, diameter, root length and root activity of vetch increased after using inoculants. The effectiveness of treatment D (phosphate dissolving +nitrogen-fixing+rhizobia inoculants:G3+Y16+J3-1) was better than single inoculant. The plant height, aboveground biomass, underground biomass, root length, surface area, root volume, root diameter and root activity increased by 45.75%,177.16%,211.69%,73.7%,238.9%,199.2%,12.4% and 44.2%,respectively.Meanwhile,A(G3) was the best single inoculum. The compound inoculum (G3+Y16+J3-1) was recommended as the best resources to substitute rhizosphere inoculum for Vicia sativa.
