The Relationship of Soil Particle Fractal Characteristics and Organic Carbon Pool Stability under Different Types of Utilization
The relationships among 0~50 cm soil particle composition, soil fractal characteristics and its soil organic carbon pool activity under different utilization types were studied in the Bayinbuluke alpine grassland. Results showed that the soil in this study area was mostly silt, and the fractal dimension distribution ranged from 2.675 to 2.845,which were closely related with the 0.05 particle size.Under longterm fencing and long-term heavy grazing conditions, the fractal dimension decreased with deepening of soil, and the relationships among particle fractal dimension and carbon pool activity were significantly correlated;however, fractal characteristics changes small under short-term enclosure and moderate grazing conditions, and no significant relationship existed.
