On the Development of International Consumption Center Cities:A Case Study of Chengdu
Developing international consumption center cities is a major strategic layout made by the State Council in response to the situation.The construction is of great significance for restoring and expanding consumption,building a new pattern of development,promoting high-quality development and creating a high-quality life.At present,accelerating the construction of an international consumption center city has become the consensus of cities in China.In this context,it is of great significance to comb the contemporary characteristics of international consumption center cities,construct an evaluation index system and analyze the shortcomings.This paper constructs an evaluation system of international consumption center cites from the dimensions of international reputation,consumption prosperity,business activity,convenience,etc.,selects 11 domestic sample cities for comprehensive evaluation and horizontal comparison,and discusses the comparative advantages and shortcomings of Chengdu in building an international consumption center city.Drawing lessons from international and domestic experience,this paper puts forward the path for Chengdu to build an international consumption center city.
