On the Resilience of Children in Difficulty in Relocated Communities:Evidence from D Community in Liangshan
By the end of 2020,China has eradicated absolute poverty.Over 9.62 million poor people got rid of poverty through relocation.From the perspective of relative poverty,children from migrant work families are facing the challenge of adapting to the new environment.Some of them have more serious problems.This paper,through field research and in-depth interviews,analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of the resilience of children in difficulty in relocated communities in Liangshan and finds that there are significant differences in the resilience of children with different age,gender and type.The age,self-concept and inner resilience of individuals at the time of family crisis will have an important impact on the resilience of children in difficulty.The social support and the interaction between individuals and the environment,will affect the resilience of children positively.It is proposed to adopt an integrated social work method to cultivate the inner resilience of children in difficulty,strengthen the support of social environment,and guide the interaction between individuals and the environment to improve the social adaption of children in difficulty.
