Expressions of RhoA,CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells, and MYBL2 in gastric cancer patients and their impacts on prognosis and survival time
Objective:To investigate the expressions of RhoA,CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells, and MYB proto-oncogene like 2(MYBL2)in gastric cancer patients, and their impacts on prognosis and survival time.Methods:134 postoperative cancer tissue samples from gastric cancer patients who visited our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected as the research subjects. In addition,62 adjacent cancer tissue samples from these patients and 40 normal gastric mucosal tissue samples from non-gastric cancer patients during the same period were selected as controls. The expressions of RhoA,CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells, and MYBL2 in cancer tissue, adjacent cancer tissue, and normal gastric mucosal tissue were detected to analyze the impacts on the prognosis and survival time of gastric cancer. Results:The positive rates of RhoA,CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells, and MYBL2 in cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in adjacent cancer tissues and normal gastric mucosal tissues(P<0.05).The average postoperative survival time of gastric cancer patients was(28.61±1.34)months.RhoA/CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells/MYBL2 positive patients had shorter survival time than negative patients(P<0.05).RhoA(+),CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells(+),and MYBL2(+)were risk factors for the prognosis of gastric cancer patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:The detections of the expressions of RhoA,CD4+CD25+regulatory T cells, and MYBL2 can serve as important supplementary methods for evaluating the severity, prognosis, and survival time of gastric cancer.
