Influencing factors of depression in postmenopausal women and their correlations with sleep quality
Objective:To analyze the influencing factors of depression in postmenopausal women and their correlations with sleep quality. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 265 postmenopausal women admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to June 2022.They were divided into a depression group(n=52)and a non-depression group(n=213)based on the presence of depression.Logistic regression analysis was used to identify the risk factors for depression in postmenopausal women, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlations between sleep quality and risk factors. Results:Kupperman menopausal index(KMI)score>6 points, personality type of N/L,exercise frequency ≤2 times per week, and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)score ≥10 points were risk factors for depression in postmenopausal women(P<0.05).PSQI score was positively correlated with KMI score and personality type(r=1.852,2.224,P<0.05),and negatively correlated with exercise frequency(r=-2.310,P<0.05).Conclusion:There are many influencing factors of depression in postmenopausal women, and there is a correlation between sleep quality and each influencing factor, which suggests that improving sleep quality may have a certain effect on improving the depression of postmenopausal women.
