Influence of traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional care on the rehabilitation effect of patients after anal fistula surgery
Objective:To explore the influence of traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional care on the rehabilitation effect of patients after anal fistula surgery.Methods:178 patients who underwent anal fistula surgery at Zhengzhou Anorectal Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups with 89 patients in each group by using a random number table method.After surgery,the control group received routine care while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional care on the basis of the control group.The intervention effects were compared between the two groups.Results:After surgery,the length of stay and the time of postoperative first exhaust,first defecation,first ambulation activity,and bowel sounds returning normal in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group;the score of visual analogic scale three and five days after surgery,the incidence of complications,and the scores of profile of mood state and social impact scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;the scores of exercise of self-care agency and generic quality of life inventory-74 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and emotional care can alleviate the pain level of patients after anal fistula surgery,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,shorten the rehabilitation process,improve mood,enhance self-care ability and quality of life.
