Analysis of social participation level and its influencing factors in epilepsy patients
Objective:To analyze the social participation level and influencing factors of epilepsy patients.Methods:128 epilepsy patients admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects.The Chinese version of the self-participation questionnaire was used to investigate the social participation level of patients.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of social participation level.Results:The score of the Chinese version of the self-participation questionnaire for 128 epilepsy patients was(71.25±5.67)points.Non-employment,frequency of seizures≥1 time/3 months,family dysfunction,strong sense of shame,and poor psychological status were risk factors for the social participation level of epilepsy patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The social participation level of epilepsy patients is moderate.It is influenced by various factors such as seizure frequency,family function,and psychological status.Individualized intervention plans should be developed based on influencing factors in order to improve the social participation level of patients.
