The books Mai Shu Shang Jing and Ni Shun Wu Se Mai Zang Yan Jing Shen in the Tianhui Medicine Bamboo Manuscripts are the earliest existing literature related to the theory of Sunzhi pulse.Those theories are consistent with the books Mai Jing and Nan Jing,which published after the Tianhui Medicine Bamboo Manuscripts.Theory of the Sunzhi pulse serves as the foundation of the medi-cal pulse system of Bianque.This article first examines and interprets the words and phrases related to the Sunzhi pulse in the Tianhui Medicine Bamboo Manuscripts.Also,compares them with the relevant content of passed down literature to infer the theoretical source of the Sunzhi pulse.Then conduct depth research on Chaoyu Qi,Tianfu,and Maikou,based on the content of Mai Shu Shang Jing in or-der to exploring the principles and basis for Sunzhi pulse.
