Zhi liushi bing heji tang fa(Formulae of mixtures and decoctions for sixty diseases)was handed down from Bian Que and Canggong and has a role in the history of Chinese medicine,and the experience of medication is worth studying.Starting from animal drugs,this paper summarizes the use of animal drugs,the processing methods,dosage forms,usage and functions of animal drugs,discusses the value of animal drugs,and provides materials for studying the origin,clinical value and medical history of the pre-Qin and Han dynasties.
