Application of Zhang Zhongjing's Academic Thought of"Unsmooth Blood Circulation Results in Water Retention"in Treat-ment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Based on the view of"Unsmooth Blood circulation results in Water retention"in Synopsis of Golden Chamber by Zhang Zhongjing,this paper discusses the guiding role of the theory in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia based on the relationship between"blood"and"Water".The main manifestation of benign prostatic hyperplasia is"Water disease",and its etiology and patho-genesis are also closely related to"Blood stasis".As an important factor in the process of benign prostatic hyperplasia,"Unsmooth Blood circulation"runs through the course of the disease,and its existence should be noted.According to the patient's clinical symp-toms,we should grasp the main and secondary contradictions,and use methods such as tonifying Kidney,invigorating Qi,regulating Qi and Heat-clearing to make"Blood flow smoothly"and finally seek"symptoms disappeared".
