Sanhuang Huatang decoction was established by Hu Xiaojuan,chief physician of traditional Chinese medicine in Shaanxi province.It is an experience prescription for treating phlegm-heat interjunction type diabetes.The prescription is composed of"Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases"by the addition and subtraction of Xiaoxiangbei Decoction and Gegenqinlian Decoction,which has been used in our department for many years with remarkable effect.This article gradually analyzes the extensive adaptability of San-huanghuatang Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with phlegm-heat interaction through the etiology,pathogenesis,prescription analysis and typical cases,so as to accumulate data for the inheritance of famous traditional Chinese medicine,and share the diagnosis and treatment ideas and application experience with colleagues.
