On Differentiation According to Subdivision of Six Conformations and Whole Six Confirmations in Treaties on Cold Damage and Its Clinical Significance
Zhang Zhongjing has introduced Differentiation according to Six conformation to deal with Shang Han.Both ancient and contemporary practitioners have taken this approach as a standard to treat various kinds of disease in their practices.However,there have been some confusion about how to apply it clinically.Based on studying ereaties on Cold damage for many years,author has real-ized that there is still an important idea that has been largely ignored,in this classic.Therefore,author has repeatedly studied this clas-sic,referred to ideas from Yellow Emperor of Inner Classic and other famous scholars,analyzed and compared the original text in this clas-sic,further classified this approach into two methods,i.e.,differentiation according to the subdivision of six conformations and whole six confirmations.It is in the hope that one can hold simple thing to control the complex and achieve mentioning one example to serve the rest clinically when following these methods.In this way,differentiation according six conformations can be widely applied in clinic.
