Chemical Composition of Volatile Oils from Different Processed Products of Aucklandia Lappa Decne.and Vladimiria Souliei(Franch.)Ling Based on Gaschromatography-Mass Spectrometry
Objective:To explore the effect of different processing methods on the volatile oil components of Aucklandia lappa Decne.and Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling.Methods:We use cutting,stir-frying,bran-frying and straw paper-simmering methods to pre-pare the Aucklandia lappa Decne.and Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling, determine the volatile oil content of different preparations. The volatile oil components were studied usinggaschromatography-mass spectrometry.Results:Thirty-eight compounds were identified in the Aucklandia lappa Decne.,while 36,34,and 34 compounds were identified in the stir-fried,bran-fried,and straw paper-wrapped products, respectively. For Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling,32 compounds were identified in the raw product, while 35,35,and 34 compounds were identified in the stir-fried,bran-fried,and straw paper-wrapped products, respectively. After the process-ing of Aucklandia lappa Decne.,the content of some aroma components such as α-phellandrene,sabinene,and caryophyllene de-creased,and the content of medicinal components such as dehydrocostus lactone, caryophyllene oxide and geranylacetone gradually in-creased.The variation of components of Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling was similar to that of Aucklandia lappa Decne.,but the aro-ma components were less. The same components of Aucklandia lappa Decne.and Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling include dehydro-costus lactone,(Z,Z,Z)-heptadeca-1,8,11,14-tetraene,elemene,costol,α-costol.The content difference compounds obtained by orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis included dihydrodehydrocostus lactone,mokkolactone,α-costol,γ-costol,α-ber-gamotenol,naphthalene,(Z,Z,Z)-heptadeca-1,8,11,14-tetraene,α-selinene,2-isopropenyl-4a,8-dimethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,7-oc-tahydronaphthalene,(3Z,3a R,7a S)-3-ethylidene-1,2,3a,4,5,6,7,7a-octahydroindene and elemene.Conclusion:About60%ofthe components in the volatile oil of Aucklandia lappa Decne.and Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling were approximately same. There were differences in components between Aucklandia lappa Decne.and Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling, and the differences decreased af-ter processing. The straw paper-wrapped method had the greatest effect on the chemical composition of Aucklandia lappa Decne.and Vladimiria souliei(Franch.)Ling.The decrease of pungent compounds and the increase of some active components may be the materi-al basis of relieving diarrhea.
